TTI

TTI is an SME that works in the technological forefronts of space, military, telecommunications, science, and information technology sectors. It was founded in 1996 entirely with national private capital and comprises an expanding team of more than 100 highly qualified engineers. TTI works in the following fields developing advanced products (detailed design, prototype components and equipments, testing and validation):

  • Antennas: design and development of customized antennas from L frequency band to Ka, using different technologies: Printed antennas (Linear and circular polarization), Active antennas based on phase arrays, Multi-layer structures, Waveguide antennas, Horn antennas ...
TTI also offers hybrid Satcom systems (X, Ku and Ka bands), based on low profile electro-mechanic solutions to support on-the-move satellite communications. These complex terminals require the integration of different subsystems such as: Antenna, Radiofrequency, Control and Tracking, Motors (electro-mechanic solutions), Power Supply and Mechanics.

  • Radiofrequency: design and development of RF and Microwave equipments such as Power Amplifiers (SSPA/BUC), Low Noise Amplifiers (LNA/LNB), Converters, Transceivers, Phase Shifters, Filters or Oscillators from VHF/UHF to Ka frequency bands.
TTI staff and facilities can undertake autonomously all the stages in product development: from requirements analysis to serial production, including prototype design, simulation, development and validation. TTI offers a product portfolio based on own designs, as well as the possibility of developing customized equipment based on customer's requirements. Features that can be found in TTI products are:
    • Fully-integrated equipments for outdoor and/or indoor conditions
    • Variety of input/output interfaces: Coaxial, Waveguide, etc.
    • Wide range of operating temperatures
    • DC or AC Power supplies
    • Parameters monitoring (output/reflected power, temperature, status,...)
    • Parameters control (output power, frequency, gain,...)
    • Alarms and automatic turn off (temperature, DC, output power range,...)
    • Manual, remote or automatic control.
    • User interface (GUI)
TTI also provides Radiofrequency Power solutions for large scientific facilities such as RF chains for particle accelerators, including design, fabrication and start up, covering aspects such as power protection, refrigerating and conditioning.

  • Cryogenics: design and development of equipment to operate at cryogenic temperatures down to 4K (-269ºC) such as laboratory cryostats and cryogenic Low Noise Amplifiers (LNAs).
Cryogenic Low Noise Amplifiers are based on GaAs, InP HEMT or hybrid technologies. They offer high stability; gain ranges from 33 dB to 39 dB and noise temperatures below 5K @15K. TTI develops S band (2,21 - 2,35 GHz), C band (4-8 GHz) and X band (8,15 - 8,63 GHz) Cryogenic LNAs.
TTI is able to integrate and produce large scientific equipments upon request (based on either specifications or previous design), integrating cryostats, LNAs, Antenna, Reception chains, Control system, Power supply, etc.
